Yoga classes at Stroud Brewery
Tune in to your body and mind with a refreshing yoga class at Stroud Brewery, with a variety of different style classes taking place throughout the week.
Figment yoga offers a dynamic morning Vinyasa class every Sunday at 9.30am, with tickets costing £10; Welcome yoga offers classes for beginners and returners, led by chiropractor and British Wheel of Yoga teacher Rebecca, every Tuesday from 12.30pm costing £12 per class; while Yoga for Blokes offers a dedicated, just-for-men class every second and fourth Sunday at 4pm, also costing £10 per class.
Jam sessions at Stroud Brewery
Filling the taproom with lively music, Stroud Brewery hosts a variety of jam sessions throughout the month. The Wednesday Morning Music group meets at 10.30am on the balcony bar for an acoustic jam session with different guests each week.
On the first and third Friday of the month, the Five Valleys Folk Session brings traditional music enthusiasts together to sing Irish and Scottish folk songs, accompanied by a variety of instruments; while on the second Sunday of the month, Community Jam invites musicians and songwriters to share their work, with a full drum kit, keyboard and two amps provided so you can plug in and play.
Forró dance classes at Stroud Brewery
Brazilian folk dance, Forró, is a described as a 'down to earth partner dance' which originates in north-east Brazil.
Not-for-profit organisaton Forró Friends hosts dance classes every Wednesday at Stroud Brewery to share the music and culture of Forró with the local community, as well as supporting the local artists, teachers and musicians who help facilitate the classes.
Green drinks at Stroud Brewery
Welcoming anyone working, volunteering or looking to get involved in green activities in the local area, Green Drinks takes place at Stroud Brewery's balcony bar.
In collaboration with Stroud People, Planet, Pint, attendees can meet like-minded people and get some top sustainability tips over a drink and some food. Get a free drink on arrival by signing up in advance via Eventbrite.
Beginner DJ course at Stroud Brewery
Big Sis DJs are hosting a six-week beginner course for female and non-binary DJs aged 30 and over at Stroud Brewery this June and July 2025.
Costing £150 per person, emerging emcees can learn the basics of digital DJing and build a 20-minute set, before performing live at Sound Records at the end of the course — with sessions taking place on Tuesday nights from 7pm until 9pm.
Women's circle at Stroud Brewery
Offering 'wellbeing for wild, wonderful and wise women', Stroud Brewery hosts a regular women's circle every Thursday at 12pm in the loft.
Led by Buddhist practitioner and hypnotherapist Tricia Toussaint, each session costs £10 and invites women to reflect, share insights, tell stories and relax over a cup or two of herbal tea.
Quiz night at Stroud Brewery
On the last Tuesday of every month, Stroud Brewery hosts its pizza and pub quiz night, inviting teams of up to six people to go head to head in a battle of wits — with the winning team receiving a £10 Stroud Brewery voucher each.
The pub quiz costs £3 per person to enter and has six rounds to take on — with Stroud Brewery's wood-fired pizza menu on offer all evening, to keep those brains fuelled!
Taiji classes at Stroud Brewery
Embrace the slow, circular movements of Taijiquan and enjoy benefits from increased energy to improved flexibility and strength, with weekly sessions at Stroud Brewery.
Taiji classes with Craig take place every Wednesday at 7.30pm and cost £14 per session.
Kids clubs at Stroud Brewery
Stroud Brewery's balcony bar is transformed into a Lego builders paradise every Wednesday from 4.30pm. This free, family-friendly club gives kids the chance to build and bond while parents kick back and relax.
There's also the Funky Munky music group every Thursday from 10.30am, giving babies and toddlers the chance to dance, jump, sing, play and make as much noise as they like — with tickets costing £7 each and £3.50 for siblings or additional children.
Board game night at Stroud Brewery
Thursday night is Game Night at Stroud Brewery — where gamers of all levels are invited to an evening of fun, social gaming from 6pm in the taproom. From 6pm to 8pm there are light games that anyone can join in with, ideal for newcomers; while from 7pm, established groups set up longer games with a two to three-hour runtime.
Entry is free and attendees are encouraged to bring their favourite modern tabletop games along to play — think Catan and Pandemic, rather than chess or Monopoly!
Circus skills at Stroud Brewery
Cirque du Dance offers aerial and circus workshops for adults and children at Stroud Brewery, with aerial hoop, silks and bungee classes taking place every week.
Childrens aerial circus sessions are on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, while adult bungee sessions take place on Mondays and aerial sessions take place on Thursdays — with a variety of membership options available costing from £65 a month for adults and £48 a month for kids.
Baby and bump group at Stroud Brewery
Mums, dads, carers, grandparents and their bundles of joy are all invited to Stroud Brewery every Tuesday from 10am to get together for some adult conversation while their little ones make some new friends.
From swapping advice to just finishing a cup of coffee while it's still hot, bring along your babies and bumps and unwind with fellow parents. Entry is free!
Arts and crafts clubs at Stroud Brewery
Every other Tuesday evening from 6pm, artsy adults can take part in Cut and Stick at Stroud Brewery, with themed workshops on everything from making masquerade masks to painting stones, costing £3 each including all the materials you'll need.
While on the third Thursday of every month, the Wild Woolly Women get together for an evening of 'social knit-working' from 10am to 1pm. The group has been going since 2009 and is always open to new members who spin, weave, felt, knit or crochet — with all levels welcome.
Conversation corner at Stroud Brewery
Taking place every Monday from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, Stroud Brewery hosts The Conversation Corner for guests aged 60 and over.
With a dedicated social table for people to pull up a chair, grab a drink and have a chat, it provides a great opportunity for those with time on their hands to reunite with old friends and make new ones.
Fitness classes at Stroud Brewery
Waking up the weekend with a fun and uplifting workout, POPfit takes place at Stroud Brewery every Saturday at 10am, with classes offering a pick your own price system from £8 to £12 each.
While on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 7pm, Charleston Fitness invites participants to get their dancing shoes on for a dance-based total body cardio workout set to a soundtrack of infectious music that's guaranteed to get toes tapping.
