Gloucestershire is brimming with energising business events this March 2025 — and the month is even more jam-packed with the added bonus of Cheltenham Race Week, the Spring Budget announcement and International Women's Day to look forward to as well.

Cheltenham BID Gold Cup networking at The Ivy Montpellier Brasserie in Cheltenham

Racing fans are in for a treat in the run up to the Cheltenham Festival this March 2025, as an exclusive business event with Cheltenham BID allows for a sneak peek at the famous Boodles Gold Cup trophy in all its golden glory.

And even better, networkers get to tuck in to a full English breakfast prepared by The Ivy while you listen to Andre Klein from The Jockey Club chat about Cheltenham Racecourse and how big race week is for Gloucestershire's economy.

Bag a spot for this racing-themed event on Tuesday 4 March 2025 via Eventbrite, with tickets costing £20 for non-BID members and free for BID levy-paying members. Places to the ready for an 8.30am start.

The Cotswolds Regenerative Agriculture Conference 2025 at the Royal Agricultural University

Another big event happening on Tuesday 4 March 2025, the Royal Agricultural University is holding its annual Cotswolds Regenerative Agriculture Conference for the farming community.

One of the biggest farming events of the year, the conference features inspiring talks and practical workshops showcasing the ever-evolving concept of regenerative agriculture.

There's interactive workshops, talks from a variety of speakers and the opportunity to network with members of the county's farming sector. Held from 8.30am until 5.30pm at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester, tickets are available via Eventbrite, with prices ranging from £12 for students and young people aged 16 to 35-years-old, up to £75 per person for general admission — Regenerative Agriculture Accelerator Programme (RAAP) members go free.

The Modern Firm Launch at The Nook in Cheltenham

On Wednesday 5 March 2025, new consultancy company, The Modern Firm, is hosting its launch event at The Nook, bringing 120 of the sector's brightest minds together to enjoy top-class hospitality, inspiring talks and networking. 

The Modern Firm is a first-of-its-kind consultancy, offering tech-driven and efficiency-focused solutions to help small and mid-size accounting firms grow. This flagship event marks the start of its mission to transform how the industry connects and evolves, with the evening kicking off at 6pm. 

The event is free to attend and includes food and drinks throughout the evening — reserve a place online on The Modern Firm's website.

Gloucestershire Growth Forum: Insights to accelerate your business growth at the University of Gloucestershire

Tackling the ins and outs of leadership and how to head up a winning team, Emerge Digital has organised an insightful networking event with Gloucestershire Growth Forum this March 2025 — and the keynote speaker is none other than former England rugby player and now CEO of Gloucester Rugby, Alex Brown.

Taking place on Wednesday 19 March 2025 from 8am to 1.30pm, tickets include lunch and 121 discussions with the experts. 

Tickets are free but should be booked in advance, with the forum suggesting a charity donation of £25, which is paid through Eventbrite when booking. 

Navigating upcoming changes to UK financial reporting standards 2025 with Bishop Fleming at Cheltenham Racecourse

Also on Wednesday 19 March 2025, Cheltenham-based accountancy firm Bishop Fleming is hosting a seminar on the upcoming changes to financial reporting — set to hit businesses in January 2026.

At the home of jump racing, Cheltenham Racecourse, from 8.30am, this seminar shares the all the details and hacks for the changes coming, along with advice to help businesses make a plan for a smooth transition.

Book via Bishop Fleming's website — it's free to attend, but places are on a first come, first served basis.

Charity black and white ball at De Vere Cotswold Water Park

And to finish off the month with a dash of glamour while raising money for a worthy cause, Longfield Community Hospice is giving Gloucestershire the perfect opportunity to glow up and put the glad rags on, at its Black and White Ball fundraiser.

Set for Saturday 29 March 2025 at the swish De Vere Cotswold Water Park, the ball costs £55 per person and includes welcome drinks on arrival, as well as a three-course dinner and live music.

The event starts at 7pm and tickets can be bought in advance through the Longfield website.
