Apprenticeship open evening at Gloucestershire College

Gloucestershire College is hosting a free open evening this Wednesday 6 March 2024, focused on its award-winning apprenticeship schemes. Meet the employers, tutors and even past students at its Gloucester Campus on Llanthony Road, with many of the county’s top employers present and ready to recruit.

From 5pm to 8pm at its Gloucester Campus, this free event showcases the vast array of options the college provides — from part time and online to full-time Level 6 degree apprenticeships, which are equivalent to a university degree. Booking is required via Eventbrite.

Vegan Business Networking event in Cheltenham

One for the plant-based business owners in the county, the Vegan Business Networking event gives fellow vegans the chance to get together, share ideas and build relationships.

Whether a seasoned entrepreneur or just starting out, this event offers networking, support from the vegan community and some delicious vegan snacks, too! Spring Budget seminar with Bishop Fleming at The Queen's Hotel in Cheltenham

International Women's Day event with WiTCH and the Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce

Become an honorary WiTCH on International Women's Day at a special event aimed at inspiring inclusion and billed as 'a morning to make change and empower women in tech, cyber and business'. 

WiTCH refers to the Women in Tech and Cyber Hub group from Cheltenham, a group for women from the technology and cyber security industries who strive to break down bias and barriers by building a community based on support, inclusion and collaboration.

The group has teamed up with the Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce to bring a day of networking, talks, discussions, open forums — and even goodie bags! — to the Leonardo Hotel in Cheltenham on Friday 8 March from 8am to 2pm. Admission is free with early booking recommended on Eventbrite.

GFirst LEP's final event at the University of Gloucestershire 

After 13 years supporting Gloucestershire businesses, GFirst LEP is hosting its final ever event on Tuesday 12 March 2024 to look back on its impressive legacy before it merges with Gloucestershire County Council.

'The One About Evolution' event takes place from 4.30pm to 6.30pm in The Growth Hub at the University of Gloucestershire's Oxstalls campus, highlighting the organisation's achievements, the future of business in Gloucestershire and appreciating its support from individuals and partners over the years. Places are likely to fill up fast, so early booking is recommended via Eventbrite.

Business as a force for good event at Brickhampton Court Golf Complex

Talking all things people-positive and climate-friendly, this free event on Monday 18 March 2024 focuses on what B Corps are doing to make positive ripples through Gloucestershire's business community.

From 5pm to 8pm, speakers George Herbert of Hobbs House Bakery, Martin Holmes of Creed Foodservice and Dr Stewart Barnes of QuoLux will share insights and experiences on the themes of regenerative farming for ‘good’ food, creating social value and being a Best Large Company to Work For. Tickets are available via Eventbrite with more information on the Business on Purpose website.

Tayntons Curry Club at the Nepalese Chef in Gloucester

This ever-popular bi-monthly networking event, hosted by Gloucester-based Tayntons Solicitors, offers local businesses the opportunity to meet up in an informal setting while tucking into some classic Indian flavours.
