Thornbury Castle's wedding planners can help to bring your vision to life and take care of much of the organisation, so you can enjoy the whole experience. 

Choose where to hold your ceremony with options including the elegant large church adjacent to the castle, a timeless rose garden with quaint gazebo, historic Tudor hall or intimate library.

How much do weddings cost at Thornbury Castle?

Exclusive hire starts at £10,000 for 26 bedrooms with breakfast, the Tudor hall which can seat 70 guests and 120 for the evening reception, the castle's three romantic cosy lounges, The Tower & Oriel Restaurants, all grounds and gardens. The wedding breakfast cost is in addition to the exclusive hire. Speak to Thornbury Castle team for a bespoke quote for taking over the castle.

A wedding for 50 guests in 2025, from Sunday to Friday, starts from £11,000. It's a little extra, from £15,000 for a Saturday wedding. In 2026, the Sunday to Friday package, starts from £13,000 and the Saturday costs from £16,500.
