Cult Canadian coffee and doughnut company, Tim Hortons, officially confirmed on Monday 17 May 2021 that it will be opening its anticipated restaurant and drive-thru in Gloucester.

While an opening date is yet to be confirmed, as previously reported by SoGlos Gloucester’s new Tim Hortons drive-thru restaurant will be replacing Pizza Hut on Eastern Avenue, with work already underway on the building.

It will be offering dine-in facilities seating up to 94 guests, as well as outdoor seating, and delivery locally.

Diners can expect signature coffee, freshly baked treats, breakfast staples and fast-food favourites, such as wraps and toasted bagels.

According to an official Tim Hortons statement, the new expansion will create up to 50 jobs for the local community and is part of the chain’s aim have a restaurant in every major town by 2022.
