As we head towards barbecue season, the team behind Kitchen Garden Foods in Stroud is branching out with a punchy new brand to heat things up.

NAFF Food – created by James Horwood and James Moinet who also run Stroud-based Kitchen Garden Foods – is a new range of rubs, pickles and sauces that promise to ‘level up your grub with hard-hitting flavour’.

The in-your-face product range includes Wham Bam – chilli jam; Big Licker – incredible garlic mayo; Daddy Cool – cucumber relish; and the interestingly named Grandpa’s Dust – hot and smokey seasoning.

Building on Kitchen Garden Foods’ 30 years of experience making chutneys and preserves, the new NAFF range promises to deliver bold, new flavours using all-natural ingredients and 100 per cent renewable energy.

Co-founder of NAFF, James Horwood, said: ‘NAFF is all about handmade, high quality products with impactful flavour. We recognised that there is increased demand for unique and punchy relishes, pickles, rubs and sauces so we decided to create something to explore that.

‘We’ve used all of the knowledge and expertise from Kitchen Garden to create something completely new, bold and brave.’

James Moinet added: ‘NAFF is a really exciting new venture for our us and the feedback so far has been overwhelming!

‘We’d been talking about the idea for some years, but during the pandemic lockdown we decided to really give it a push… We’ve launched with 12 products with loads more already developed and ready to add to the range over the coming months. I can’t wait.’
