With outdoor drinking and dining set to be allowed from April 2021, Cowley Manor near Cheltenham is launching A Cowley Picnic – an alfresco feast inside a private bell tent.
Available from Monday 12 April 2021, A Cowley Picnic provides a range of picnic food options to be served inside one of its luxurious bell tents within the gardens of Cowley Manor – with each one kitted out with deck chairs, blankets and games.
There’ll be no soggy sandwiches either. Picnic menu options include spinach, goat’s cheese and roasted yellow courgette quiche; pork, apple and sage Scotch eggs; lamb, pea, caramelised red onion and mint sausage rolls; and local cheeses with candied walnuts and grapes.
Plus, there’s the option to add on a bottle of Pimms, rosé, prosecco or English sparkling wine to make it an extra special treat.
Cowley Manor is also offering all day alfresco dining on its newly covered terrace, which has blankets and a fire for cooler days. It is hoping to reopen its C-Side Spa and outdoor pool on Monday 12 April 2021, too.
Cowley Manor’s bell tents cost £25 to hire and must be booked in advance, with picnic food options ranging from £3.50 to £14 per dish.
