The magic of Giffords Circus is coming to the kitchen as the Giffords Circus Cookbook, Recipes & Stories from a Magical Circus Restaurant is published on Thursday 26 March 2020.
Nell Gifford shares her stories from touring with the circus, with accompanying recipes from Circus Sauce head chef Ols Halas.
The book is full of hearty recipes that champion seasonal British produce, much like the restaurant that tours alongside Giffords. Some of the delicious sounding recipes include nettle soup, pork belly baps and grapefruit meringue pies.
Described as ‘a celebration of the food that brings the circus and its audience together’, the book also features colourful images documenting the circus as it makes its summer tour through the countryside.
