The role

WSP Solicitors is seeking a commercial solicitor to undertake company commercial work.

The role offers the chance to gain skills and experience and to contribute to the development of a long-established, forward-thinking, and expanding firm.

It includes active participation in the firm’s marketing which covers article drafting, PR, business development, social media and networking activities.

Experience needed and required technical ability

The candidate needs to have a minimum of three years of relevant experience and should be commercially aware, with a proven background in all aspects of company commercial law, including buying and selling businesses.

The role requires an understanding of the preparation of sale and purchase agreements and other technically demanding documents. It's important to have good working knowledge of the Companies Act 2006 and contract law.

An ability and willingness to learn and manage workload in an efficient and organised manner to meet clients’ demanding requirements is vital.

WSP Solicitors is looking for someone who can communicate very well and clearly in writing. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, willing and a strong team player combining technical ability with commercial awareness.

You should possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills and be IT proficient.
