Celebrating the 25-year anniversary of the 90s smash-hit film, an exclusive stage adaptation of The Full Monty is set to appear on Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre stage this September 2023, giving audiences the VERY FIRST chance to see the new show before it embarks on a major UK tour.
A co-production between the Everyman Theatre and Buxton Opera House, it follows the story of a group of unemployed steelworkers down on their luck, who decide to present a strip act to raise some much-needed cash — leaving audiences with a bit more than they bargained for!
On stage at the Everyman Theatre from Thursday 14 until Saturday 23 September 2023, crowds can see Eastenders and Ridley Road star Danny Hatchard as Gaz; and X Factor alum Jake Quickenden playing Guy; as well as Bill Ward as Gerald, Neil Hurst as Dave, Ben Onwukwe as Horse and Nicholas Prasad as Lomper, all taking to the stage to present the feel-good classic. But will they go the 'full monty'?
With tickets almost sold-out for the Cheltenham dates, Gloucestershire theatre fans can also see The Full Monty on tour at venues including nearby Bath and Birmingham.
