Eat, drink and be entertained at Elmore Court, when The Parrot Cage – a luxurious new series of pop up dinner and cabaret events – is launched at the stunning venue, just outside Gloucester.
All events are being held safely and within Covid guidelines in Elmore Court’s The Gillyflower on four evenings: Friday 25 September, Saturday 26 September, Friday 2 October and Saturday 3 October 2020.
The cabaret dining experience includes stunning food alongside music, comedy, magic and burlesque from the likes of Missy Fatale, Marcel Lucont, Patrick Monahan, Jess Love, Curious Little Big Band and many more.
The menu created by Elmore Court’s head chef uses vegetables grown from its own walled garden, picked and prepared on the day of guests’ arrival. There’s also wild mushrooms and blackberries foraged from around the estate, as well as stock from local farmers such as Longhorn Beef reared on the slopes of May Hill.
Spanning four-courses, just a sample of The Parrot Cage menu highlights include starters such as oxtail ravioli, with spinach and red wine sauce; line-caught sea bass fillet, roast fennel purée, crushed potato, Champagne, mussel, clam, sea herbs and cream sauce for the main course; and chocolate delice, orange zest gelato and foraged wild blackberries for dessert.
Tickets cost £90 per person, sold as a pair for £180 – with overnight accommodation options also available.
