If you’re looking for the perfect fabric for your next creation, Malthouse Collective’s latest event is the ideal opportunity to pick up some beautiful patterns, and even some inspiration from other crafters.
Showcasing a range of vintage fabrics, ideal for transforming into clothing, curtains and cushions, the event on Sunday 21 October 2018 will also play host to a number of designer makers, specialising in unusual fabric creations.
Some names to already confirm their attendance at this exciting event are Rosablue which designs and prints its own fabrics; Demonshopper’s collection of vintage French linen and smocks; textile and costume consultant, The Washer Woman; and hand-stitched treasures from Suzi Hearts.
Running from 10am until 4pm, this free event is open to anyone wanting to discover some gorgeous new materials and speak to expert makers, working within the textile industry.
In addition to the vast array of fabrics on offer, there’s also contemporary furniture and pre-loved designer clothing available on the day, as well as the chance to enjoy a selection of refreshments and delicious cakes, hand made by the team at Lavender Bakehouse.
