Pied Piper Junior Aquathlon in Cheltenham

Kids can compete in the Pied Piper Junior Aquathlon at Sandford Parks Lido this summer and raise funds for two local charities.

Giving mini aspiring sporting greats the chance to raise money for charity and have fun in the Cheltenham sun, Sandford Parks Lido will be hosting the Pied Piper Junior Aquathlon on Saturday 30 June 2018.

Designed for sporty children aged between eight and 16, the aquathlon challenge will see entrants race in the heated main pool, before drying off with a run around Sandford Park itself – all to raise money for the Cheltenham Lido and The Pied Piper Appeal.

There are five categories available, including Tristar Start for eight-year-olds, comprising of a 54-metre swim and 400-metre run around the park; Tristar One for nine to 10-year-olds, comprising of a 100-metre swim and 1,300-metre run; and Tristar Two for 11 to 12-year-olds, comprising of a 200-metre swim and 1,900-metre run.

Meanwhile for teens there’s the Tristar Three for 13 to 14-year-olds, comprising of a 400-metre swim and 2,500-metre run; and Youth for 15 to 16-year-olds, which includes a 400-metre swim and 3,100-metre run.
