The biggest and most popular one-day fixture at Cheltenham Racecourse, New Year's Day racing gets 2025 off to a thrilling start on Monday 1 January 2024.
See in the new year in style with trackside action out in the fresh air, with a chance to witness exhilarating racing from some of the top horses, jockeys and trainers in the UK — as well as collecting top tips for who to back at Cheltenham Festival in March.
Alongside the seven highly competitive races taking place throughout the day, the Junior Jumpers Family Fun Zone — available to club and tattersalls ticket holders only — provides a whole day of entertainment to keep little racegoers happy, including stage shows; arts and crafts stations; face painting; and meet and greets with CBeebies favourites Bluey and Bingo, as well as two real-life unicorns!
With the kids covered, there's entertainment for the grownups, too, in the form of live music played across four performance areas at the racecourse.
Soak up the infectious energy of The Mark Walby Band at The Guinness Village; boogie on down to the Tattersalls Sales Arena for the feel-good favourites of Richard James; and the Quevega's Bar is a great place for raising a glass with friends — or get really fancy at The Champagne Bar soundtracked by some smooth saxophone throughout the day.
