Dig out your trainers or walking boots and get ready to trek 21 miles across some of the most glorious Cotswold countryside, all in aid of Meningitis Now.
Thirty-five years after it first launched and returning after a two-year hiatus, the Five Valleys Walk will take place on Sunday 25 September 2022 and is suitable for walkers of all ages and abilities – starting in Stroud.
The event is the perfect excuse for a family day out, team building event, or just a chance to let your pooch roam the hills – all whilst doing your bit for Stroud-based charity, Meningitis Now.
Entrants can finish at any of the various check points along the 21-mile route, with a free bus waiting to transport fatigued feet back to the starting point if you’re getting tired.
Local businesses will be on hand to provide walkers with snacks and drinks throughout the day, with participants also being welcomed at Stroud Cricket Club with live music, hot food and drinks.
What’s more, those who finish the whole route will be rewarded with a voucher for a free drink, so campaigners can look forward to celebrating with a well-earned pint!
