Gloucester’s Warehouse Climbing Centre is inviting people of all ages to give climbing and bouldering a try at its fun day on Saturday 2 April 2022.
The family-friendly event will give climbers of all abilities – including complete beginners – a chance to learn the ropes, with a series of workshops, clinics, demonstrations, fun challenges and mini competitions.
Try your hand at bouldering with 12 problems to overcome in 10 attempts or less; get to the top of an autobelay climb for the chance to win a raffle prize; take part in a caving taster session; or limber up with a yoga for climbers session – with lots more workshops, talks and competitions taking place on the day.
There’ll also be plenty of special offers and discounts available, plus a live DJ providing the tunes and climbing films playing throughout the day in the licensed Café Bar, too.
The fun day takes place from 1pm to 8pm on Saturday 2 April 2022. Entry is free for existing Warehouse Climbing members, with tickets costing cost £11 for adults and £10 for children under 18.
There are some age restrictions in place for safety, with autobelay climbing and caving suitable for children aged five and over; and bouldering, lead and top rope climbing suitable for children aged seven and over – and all children under eight-years-old must be accompanied by an adult.
Some workshop places are limited, so be sure to sign up early to secure your place.
