From Wednesday 4 until Sunday 8 May 2022, equine enthusiasts will be treated to five days of sporting excellence when Badminton Horse Trials returns to Gloucestershire.

Considered one of the world’s greatest equestrian events, the competition sees riders take on a variety of disciplines from show-jumping to dressage and cross-country.

First horse inspections will get underway on Wednesday 4 May 2022, with the next two days seeing riders take on the dressage arena. Cross-country will then follow-on Saturday 7 May 2022, finishing with the final horse inspection and show-jumping on Sunday 8 May 2022- including the anticipated awards ceremony.

Lovers of the sport will recognise a few star-studded names, such as Laura Tomlinson, who won team gold and individual bronze dressage medals at the London Olympic Games in 2012, who will be performing a dressage display in the main arena on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 May 2022.
