Promising a delicious evening at Purslane Restaurant, guests can get into the spirit of English Wine Week by heading to a special Wine and Dine event in Cheltenham.
The evening, taking place on Thursday 31 May 2018, champions the locally-grown grape; guests will get the chance to try different wines grown and produced on the Poulton Hill Estate near Cirencester.
Each glass of wine will be specially paired with an exquisite dish, created by Purslane’s chefs and designed to complement and enhance the drinks’ flavours.
The enticing menu encompasses Salcombe Bay crab salad with courgettes, sea herbs and elderflower hollandaise; Cornish mackerel with Pershore asparagus, gooseberry and smoked brandade; Cotswold wood pigeon with heritage beetroot, boudin noir and black cherry; and Primrose Vale strawberries with vanilla shortbread and clotted cream granita.
Meanwhile budding connoisseurs can hear from Poulton Hill’s Natalie Murphy, who will explore how each wine is made, and what each glass brings to the table.
Set to be a decadent evening at Cheltenham’s popular restaurant, this May’s Wine & Dine event is sure to delight foodies and wine lovers alike.
