Waving goodbye to British summertime in style, Wild Thyme & Honey is hosting the ultimate end-of-summer party in partnership with Cotswolds Distillery, with a day of food-focused events and live music on Saturday 14 September 2024.
Taking over the pretty Wildflower Terrace for the day, here's what you can look forward to at this year's Summer Sundown...
The Big Brunch at Wild Thyme & Honey
11am to 3pm
Kick off the weekend with a spot of brunch, choosing from tempting dishes like classic full English breakfasts to signature smashed avocado on sourdough, alongside a seasonal a la carte menu. Chef favourites include burrata, charred peaches and heirloom tomatoes in a smoked tomato oil, as well as the popular 28-day dry-aged steak frites.
With live music to set the scene, the coveted riverside dining spot offers the perfect place to indulge; plus, Wild Thyme & Honey is offering a complimentary wildflower spritz cocktail when you book a table of four or more for brunch on the terrace.
Cotswolds Distillery Masterclass at Wild Thyme & Honey
5pm to 6pm
Join a bespoke Cotswolds Distillery masterclass hosted by head of mixology, Oliver Morris, where you’ll get hands-on with cocktail creation and learn tricks of the trade from a true cocktail connoisseur.
Learn all about how Cotswolds Distillery came to be, before Ollie shows you how to create a cloudy martini — which you’ll get to sample — and how to get the flavour balance of a sour cocktail just right. To finish, you’ll get the chance to sample some distillery-exclusive products and mix up another cocktail using a selection of seasonal ingredients available.
Soft drink options will be available for those not drinking.
Feasting Fiesta Supper at Wild Thyme & Honey
7pm to 10pm
Finally, spend the evening crafting your own wildflower spritz cocktail with the expert mixologists from Cotswolds Distillery, before taking a seat on the terrace for a two-course Feasting Fiesta set menu.
Dishes include succulent grills such as sirloin steak, pork cutlet with a Cajun rub and bourbon glazed peach and squid, chorizo and Padron skewers, accompanied by a selection of classic salads and sides.
Continuing the party vibes, there'll be live music from guitarist Adam Lee playing famous rock, pop, and jazz covers.
