Bag a table at Cheltenham's hottest new eatery when it opens its doors for its eagerly-awaited Opening Night.
Housed in the former Jamie’s Italian in the centre of town, foodies can head to The Old Courthouse on Thursday 15 February 2018 for its official opening, being amongst the first to feast their eyes on the enticing food and drink menus.
Diners can expect an enticing choice of contemporary British dishes, with example starters including deep-fried Cornish brie with pickled cranberries and candied pecan salad; pan-fried tarragon gnocchi with sautéed ceps and mushroom sauce; and seared scallops with crispy ham fritters and pea puree.
For the main course, expect meals such as lemon and thyme chicken breast with chorizo croquette and tomato jus; slow-cooked ox cheek bourguignon with horseradish mash and roast carrots; and cauliflower and sweet potato biryani with lentil curry, lime pickle and red onion bhaji.
With a whole host of tasty lighter bites as well as tempting sides, sandwiches, and decadent desserts, there’s something for everyone, not to mention The Old Courthouse’s drinks menu which comprises a range of real ales, wines and an extensive gin list.
