Nestled within the grounds of the impressive Speech House Hotel in Coleford, the Forest Showcase Food Festival is returning on Sunday 8 October 2023, promising another year of excellent entertainment for food and drink enthusiasts in the Forest of Dean.
The unique event celebrates the rich culinary heritage and abundance of natural flavours in the region and features engaging workshops, live culinary demonstrations from renowned local chefs and an incredible array of stalls stocked with artisan offerings from local businesses and eateries — from gourmet cheeses to craft beers.
The one-day festival caters for all ages, with its dedicated kids zone designed to keep little ones entertained with a variety of activities and games while parents browse for tasty treats.
There’s also live music; talks and tastings; and arts and crafts to enjoy, too.
The festival is committed to sustainability, with the event emphasising the importance of responsible practices by reducing waste and encouraging its stallholders to embrace the use of eco-friendly packaging.
Tickets for the Forest Showcase Food Festival cost from £7 for adults and from £4 for children aged five to 18 and can be purchased online in advance or on the day.
