Cheese lovers across Gloucestershire are in luck this February and March, as Cheltenham's Raymond Blanc-curated French restaurant Brasserie Blanc brings back its C'est Cheese event — celebrating a staple in Alpine dining.
The menu features a four-cheese sharing fondue, which blends Beaufort, Tomme de Jura, Emmental and Comté cheeses together and infuses the mixture with kirsch and white wine for a blast of complementing flavours.
This sumptuous dish is accompanied by a charcuterie platter, new potatoes, a baguette, cornichons and a green salad with mustard dressing — and those who prefer not to share can tuck into individual raclette servings.
If you can't get enough of the gooey stuff, Brasserie Blanc's seasonal a la carte menu can also be sampled, featuring signature dishes like a delicate cheese souffle with Ford Farm coastal cheddar and a new addition of Le Grand Souffle made with oak-smoked cheddar.
Prices vary, with the four-cheese sharing fondue priced at £18 per person and the individual raclettes costing £19.95.
The C'est Cheese event runs every Thursday at Brasserie Blanc in Cheltenham from 20 February until 20 March 2025 — but please note that this excludes Thursday 13 March.
