For more than 20 years, chef Amandine Chaignot has been unveiling her cuisine in the most beautiful places in the world.
After having worked with the greatest, she is now the chef of her two restaurants Pouliche and Café de Luce in Paris.
Since September 2013, she has also been a member of the jury in the fourth season of the French version of Masterchef.
Amandine said: 'My roots are French, and I let myself be carried away by what surrounds me, by what I like. My cooking is a reflection of who I am; simple, spontaneous, sincere.'
Her gastronomic evening at Whatley Manor starts at 7pm on Wednesday 10 April 2024 and features a showcase of sustainable Sturia caviar in a variety of dishes.
Costing £145 per person, it includes Gusbourne Blanc de Noirs reception and Caviar bumps and an exquisite six-course menu concluding with coffee.
Delightful dishes include canapés of Sturia caviar trifle, aged beef tartar, langoustine and Sturia tart.
The first course features scallops and the second course, razor clams. Those are followed up by a fish course that includes pike’s quenelles, vintage caviar, beurre blanc and spinach.
While the star of the show for the main course is lamb loin with asparagus, confit lemon, wild garlic and caviar.
There's not just one dessert to bring the feast to a sweet conclusion but two with parsley ice cream, served before a second dessert
of sweet woodruff, baked chocolate and fermented raspberry.
