The King’s School Gloucester is inviting prospective families to discover 'where happy children thrive' at its Working Open Morning on Friday 7 March 2025.
Providing a unique opportunity to see its Little King's nursery, Junior and Senior schools and Sixth Form on a typical school day, families can experience the school's forward-thinking, inspirational environment for themselves and see its teaching and learning in action.
The multi-award-winning and two-time Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards Independent School of the Year welcomes boys and girls aged three to 18 to its diverse community of just over 730 pupils.
King’s pupils have a genuine love of learning, stemming from the school's stimulating lessons and small class sizes, as well as its enriching range of co-curricular activities spanning sport, music, performing and creative arts.
Its latest ISI report gave the school the highest possible score, rating the quality of pupils' academic success and personal development as excellent.
Pastoral care is of utmost importance to King's, too, with the school working in close partnership with parents to create an environment where children of all abilities can thrive.
Benefitting from a special sense of identity from its close relationship with Gloucester Cathedral, being located right next door, King's welcomes pupils of all faiths and of none.
Parents attending the open morning will have the opportunity to speak to the admissions and bursary teams, who will be on hand to answer questions and provide helpful information on the applications process, as well as enjoying refreshments.
Places for the open morning must be booked in advance via thekingsschool.co.uk.
