The King’s School Gloucester, is opening its doors for a special Wands and Wizards Open Morning on Saturday 8 June 2024, so prospective students and their families can discover the magic of learning at the leading independent day school.
Little wizards are invited to explore its unique and inspiring learning environment on its interactive Discovery Trail, accompanied by one of its current pupils, where they'll be tasked with spellbinding activities like mixing potions in the very same location some of the Harry Potter movies were filmed.
The Open Morning also gives families the chance to tour the first-class facilities and chat to teachers and students to get a feel for life at the multi-award-winning school.
For anyone considering applying, the admissions team will also be on hand to answer questions and provide helpful information on scholarships, bursaries and the applications process over refreshments, too.
The two-time Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards Independent School of the Year welcomes boys and girls aged three to 18 to its diverse community of around 740 pupils and shares a special relationship with Gloucester Cathedral, located just next door.
King's was rated excellent in all areas in its latest ISI Inspection Report and prides itself on its stimulating and engaging lessons in small classes; excellent academic results; enriching range of co-curricular activities in sport, music, performing and creative arts; and nurturing pastoral care, working closely with parents to create an environment where children of all abilities can thrive.
Whether you're a well-versed wizard or a curious 'Muggle', anyone wanting to discover the magic of learning at The King's School Gloucester can register for the Open Morning online in advance at thekingsschool.co.uk.
