Wacky Wednesday at International Centre for Birds of Prey

Set to be a highlight of Whitsun half term, The International Centre for Birds of Prey hosts Wacky Wednesday, a fun-filled event offering everything from face painting and crafts to pebble and pottery decorating, as well as its amazing flying displays.

Taking place as part of Love Your Zoo Week, the International Centre for Birds of Prey will open its doors for a special Wacky Wednesday event, offering plenty of hands-on fun for all ages.

Taking place on Wednesday 30 May 2018, the exciting event features a number of crafts and activities for little and big kids to enjoy. Highlights include face painting; making paper plate owls; pebble decorating; colouring; and Paint-A-Pot pottery decorating.

What’s more throughout Love Your Zoo Week, running from Saturday 25 May to Sunday 2 June 2018, there will be a Love Heart Trail for visitors to enjoy, along with stickers to take home too.

With all this, as well as The International Centre for Birds of Prey’s resident feathered friends and thrilling flying displays, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

An annual nationwide event which coincides with the Whitsun half term, Love Your Zoo Week celebrates and raises awareness of the important conservation, education and research that zoos, aquariums and wildlife parks do.
