With re-enactments from the War of the Roses, visitors are promised a fun-filled and educational day out at the historic castle.

With everything from a junior obstacle course to an adventure playground, lakeside walks and rope swings, there will certainly be enough to keep everyone busy.

Visitors can even explore the castle’s maze and take part in the tree hunters’ trek, making full use of the surrounding castle grounds. The interactive living history show also includes stalls and displays showcasing crafts and cooking, as well as combat.
