Favourite family attraction, Berkeley Castle, has planned a season of summertime fun, with plenty to delight visitors of all ages during the school holidays.

There is plenty to keep little nippers entertained during fun-filled day trips on Sundays to Wednesdays between Sunday 29 July and Monday 29 August 2018, including a dedicated Family Fun Day on Sunday 5 August 2018.

Other highlights include storytelling on Mondays (excluding the bank holiday); Monty the Jester on Tuesdays; and Archery Shows on Wednesdays.

On Sunday 29 July 2018, there’s the chance to step back in time with Falconry Displays and Tudor Gentry; on Sunday 12 August visitors can enjoy authentic sword fighting displays; and on Sunday 19 August there’ll be a Circus Show with the Cavalry of Heroes.

With all this, plus a bank holiday of Magnificent Medieval Merriment from Sunday 26 to Monday 27 August 2018 with falconry shows, living history, music, and more, there’s plenty of reasons to visit Berkeley Castle during the long summer break.

Families can also take advantage of Berkeley Castle’s summer deal; grandparents will get free entry, with each paying grandchild, every Monday throughout July and August 2018 (excluding Monday 27 August 2018).
