Keen puzzle solvers are invited to crack Slimbridge Wetland Centre's new code breaking challenge, launching just in time for the summer holidays on Saturday 20 July 2024.
And there's a 12-month WWT family membership up for grabs if you can solve it!
Running every day throughout the school summer holidays until Sunday 1 September 2024, the Summer Code Breakers trail transforms Slimbridge's wetlands into a giant interactive puzzle — with two separate challenges for families of all ages to get involved.
Ideal for younger explorers, the first challenge involves unscrambling a series of letters found hidden around the site to reveal a hidden phrase. Anyone who can figure it out gets a special sticker from the Slimbridge shop!
Building on this, the second challenge is a code breaking quest for the whole family. You'll need to work as a team to find the letters, solve the puzzles and unscramble the final phrase — and if you crack it, you can enter an exclusive prize draw to be in with the chance of winning a year's family membership to WWT!
Blending good old-fashioned family fun and education, in a stunning setting teeming with wildlife, this captivating code breaking adventure takes families on a quest through the wetlands, with plenty of natural wonders to discover along the way.
