Splish, splash and splosh into February half term, with the perfect wet weather activity for energetic children – the Puddle Jumping Championship at Slimbridge Wetland Centre.
Taking place from Saturday 19 to Sunday 27 February 2022, the event encourages little ones to jump through puddles to their hearts’ content, with prizes up for grabs for the best splashers in the daily competitions.
The puddle jumping action is held in Slimbridge’s Welly Boot Land, which is brimming with bridges, waterwheels and streams to splash about in. With lots of other fun activities to have a go at, too.
Families can also seek out puddles around the nature reserve, getting up close to these mini wetlands to spot small wildlife using them to feed, drink and bathe.
