Make the most of the spring bank holiday with a fun family trip to Eastnor Castle, near Ledbury, celebrating May Day Weekend from Saturday 1 to Monday 3 May 2021.
Grab a hot dog from the gazebo and look out for the resident entertainer, who will be making appearances around the grounds to amuse visitors of all ages.
While the castle itself remains closed for now, children will have heaps of fun exploring Eastnor’s grounds – from testing their balance on the obstacle course to zooming down the super slide. Tree climbing is also encouraged, with lots of natural play resources to discover around the estate.
If you’re still hungry after hot dogs, head to the onsite tea room for takeaway drinks and snacks, or treat yourself to an ice cream from the nearby parlour. Families are more than welcome to bring their own picnics to enjoy in the grounds, too.
Arrival timeslots will be staggered to maintain social distancing but once inside the gates, families can enjoy the delights of Eastnor’s grounds until closing time at 5.30pm.
Please note, in line with government guidance, visitors must attend with their own household, one other household or within the rule of six.
Tickets for May Day Weekend at Eastnor Castle must be booked online in advance.
