One of Gloucestershire's most anticipated annual events, The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) is returning to the Cotswolds in 2025, with hundreds of military aircraft on display both in the skies and on the ground.
The world-renowned airshow at RAF Fairford combines thrilling air displays from skilled pilot teams — like the famous Red Arrows — with static displays on the ground, allowing visitors to get 'up close and personal' with military aircraft from across the globe.
Taking place over three days from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 July 2025, this year's event has a spy-centric 'Eyes in the Skies' theme, celebrating the 'vital' role aviation plays across aerial surveying, airborne early warning, maritime patrol, search and rescue, reconnaissance, signals intelligence and surveillance.
Visitors can also explore the latest advancements in science and tech in RIAT's Techno Zone; enjoy food and drinks, shopping and entertainment — and snap a selfie with a pilot — in the Take Off Zone; dive into life in the Royal Air Force at the RAF Experience; and for an extra fee, gain access to one of its hospitality enclosures.
Parents and children can enjoy the show with shaded areas, garden seating and private toilets in the family enclosure; while new for 2025, Altitude offers visitors an 'upbeat' atmosphere with a live DJ and all-inclusive food and drinks — including cocktails — up on an elevated roof terrace, with exclusive access to a spacious grass viewing area, too.
Standard day admission tickets start at £47.50, while children aged under 18 go free with a paying adult, with no restrictions on the number of children per adult.
