Cheltenham College’s prestigious Kingfishers Pre-Prep department will be opening its doors to the families of Gloucestershire and beyond on Thursday 26 April 2018.
During the insightful Open Morning, prospective pupils and their parents will get the chance to explore the Nursery and Pre-Prep, with pupil guides leading visitors around the excellent facilities.
There will also be the opportunity to meet Cheltenham College’s headmaster, Mr Jon Whybrow, the Head of Pre-Prep and other key members of staff, providing the perfect opportunity to learn more about the first-class teaching on offer.
Open to children aged between three and seven, Kingfishers Pre-Prep is divided into a Nursery for ages rising three to four, Reception classes for ages four to five, Year One classes for ages five to six; and Year Two classes for ages six to seven, with its small group sizes ensuring strong staff support and individualised learning for each child.
Home to its own Forest School where all children can enjoy lessons, the Nursery and Pre-Prep also offers a broad curriculum from an early age, including music, French, PE and swimming, with ICT being introduced from Year One and skiing club open to Year Two pupils.
Set in stunning grounds, Kingfishers Pre-Prep not only boasts outstanding facilities, but is famed for its academic excellence, with an emphasis on enjoyment and enthusiasm in the classroom.
