King Arthur and his sworn enemy, the evil Morgana Le Fey are coming to Tewkesbury as the Roses Theatre brings King Arthur: The Panto! to the stage, from Saturday 27 November to Friday 31 December 2021.
Promising swords and stones; heroes and princesses; wizards and dragons; laughs and danger – all set in medieval Tewkesbury, the story follows a humble baker boy on his quest for greatness, including run ins with a variety of foes and obstacles along the way!
The show has been specially created for the Roses Theatre by BAFTA-winner Maurice Gran – who wrote the TV show Birds of a Feather and West End musical Dreamboats and Petticoats – and Nick Wilkes, who was behind The Roses’ 2020 pantomime, Almost A Christmas Carol.
So, get your boos and hisses ready for Sir Mordred and cheer King Arthur to glory at this fantastic festive family show.
