Spreading Christmas magic across Gloucester, the annual Christmas Lantern Procession will return on Sunday 18 November 2018.

Headed up by Father Christmas, the procession will feature live music from samba bands as well as a whole host of local school children showcasing their impressive lantern masterpieces.

This year’s theme is The Snow Queen and visitors can expect to see lanterns shaped as everything from snowflakes to reindeer. Families can also get involved on Saturday 17 November 2018, with a free lantern making workshop at King’s Walk Gloucester. The workshop runs from 11am to 3pm.
