Marking the 83rd anniversary of the annual event, the Gloucester Carnival will have a ‘Myths and Legends’ theme when it travels through the city on Saturday 13 July 2019, which will be led by fantastical unicorn and dragon floats.

Following the two great mystical creatures, the Carnival procession will be abuzz with floats and entertainers, ending with a free concert in Gloucester Park.

The carnival troupe will leave Westgate Car Park at 3.30pm and is expected to arrive at Gloucester Park around 4.30pm; with the route weaving its way along Westgate Street; Eastgate Street; Trier Way and Park Road before finishing in the park.

The Gloucester Carnival is taking place as part of this summer’s SoMAC Festival.
