As part of Foster Care Fortnight, Gloucestershire County Council is offering prospective foster carers the chance to find out more about changing the lives of local children this spring.
Taking place in the Blue Coat Room at Gloucester Guildhall on Saturday 18 May 2019, Gloucestershire residents can drop in and informally chat to foster carers, or attend one of two information sessions at 10am and 1.30pm.
A national campaign to raise the profile of fostering, Foster Care Fortnight, is running from Monday 13 to Sunday 26 May 2019 and aims to show how foster care transforms lives.
If you are unable to make the Open Day, Gloucestershire County Council run regular events across the county. Visit gloucestershire.gov.uk directly for more information.
