Budding young photographers can get snap happy at Slimbridge Wetland Centre, taking part in a hands-on wildlife photography course this October half term.
Children aged eight and above can learn how to get the perfect shot on Wednesday 27 October 2021, with anyone interested in photography and nature invited to pick up a camera and head to the wetland centre near Stroud.
Kicking off with an introduction to wildlife photography, the session will go through everything from composition and technique to field craft and equipment, teaching children and parents all they need to know.
Budding photographers will then head into the reserve for a practical session, with plenty of opportunities to capture the Gloucestershire wetland paradise that needs no filter!
The course welcomes camera operators of all abilities, even complete beginners, with tailored one-to-one tuition to make sure every student gets the most out of their session. It’s suitable for all camera types, too, including compact and SLR models.
