There are not one, but two family hunts around Burrows Playing Field in Leckhampton during the Easter holidays, from Friday 2 April until Sunday 18 April 2021.
The first, perfect for little ones, includes lots of lovely spring pictures hidden around the park, all coloured in by the Broadlands Preschool children. Described as ‘perfect for little legs’, all the clues lead to spots within the park.
For bigger kids, The Motherhood Society has created a longer trail, approximately one mile long, around the footpaths and pavements of Leckhampton featuring Easter eggs designed and coloured by local children – which is described as pram and scooter-friendly.
Maps costing £5 per child are on sale at Burrows Café in the park, which includes both the short and long route, with a hot chocolate and bag of Easter treats at the end included in the price.
