Get ready for some ‘thrillingly grisly, darkly funny’ entertainment during Fairytales Gone Bad at Stroud Subscription Rooms, with performance poet Joseph Coelho showcasing the classic stories in a whole new light.

There will be two performances on Thursday 12 April 2018, spanning Grannylocks and Monstrous Duckling in the morning, followed by Zombie-rella and Blood Red Hood in the afternoon.

Grannylocks and Monstrous Duckling is not a tale about a little girl called Goldilocks, but a mean, thieving granny who has nasty plans.

Meanwhile Zombie-rella and Blood Red Hood offers the chance to discover the true story of Cinderella where she dies and becomes a zombie and falls in love with a vampire prince, and Little Red Riding Hood, the wolf-hunter who never leaves her home without her shield, axe and blood-red stained cloak.
