Families can head to Gloucester’s Eastgate Shopping Centre during the Easter school holidays for some free entertainment, with highlights including puppetry and creative fun.
On Friday 30 March 2018, creative children will get the chance to make their own Easter hat, before posing for the centre’s virtual Easter Parade album on Facebook. What’s more visitors can ‘like’ their favourite picture, with a £25 voucher up for grabs for the most popular!
Meanwhile on Thursday 5 April, the Puppetree Theatre Company will visit to share the story of mischievous ‘spirit’ Pooka through puppet shows. Featuring the character from Celtic folklore and fairytales, shoppers of all ages can look forward to some great entertainment.
Speaking of the events, Eastgate Shopping Centre’s manager, Jason Robinson said: ‘We are thrilled to have two days of excellent children’s entertainment planned for the Easter holiday, and with crafts and puppets on offer, we hope there is something for everyone.’
