Sudeley Castle is travelling back in time this Easter 2025, taking visitors to the medieval era for two weeks of Tudor-themed family fun.
From Saturday 12 until Sunday 27 April 2025, visitors to the historic attraction are tasked with working out which of King Henry VIII's six wives is which, with a game of Tudor Guess Who.
Search for each life-sized, hand-painted wife around the castle gardens, making sure to follow all the secret pathways to find each one and discover a fascinating fact about Easter traditions in Tudor times — with a collection of Tudor-themed Easter eggs to find along the way.
Then during the Easter weekend from Friday 18 to Monday 21 April 2025, Queen Elizabeth I will be making an extra special appearance for Sudeley Castle's Hot Cross Bun special.
The queen will be dishing out Royal Pardons allowing her loyal subjects to tuck into hot cross buns all weekend long, with lots more fun activities including Tudor quizzes and games; egg rolling; traditional egg painting; and even Tudor dance lessons to take part in, too.
With the cherry blossoms in full bloom, as well as the castle-themed adventure playground and Sudeley Elephant Safari to explore, it's a great time to enjoy Sudeley's spectacular gardens and grounds.
All Easter activities are included in the price of admission to Sudeley Castle, which costs £23 for adults, £10 for children or £58 for families of up to two adults and three children aged 15 and under. Visitors can also return to Sudeley Castle as many times as they like within 30 days of booking their ticket, with its 30 days for the price of one offer.
