Promising laughs and mayhem, Promenade Productions brings its pantomime to a new venue in 2022, with a traditional family performance of Dick Whittington at Cheltenham Playhouse.
Running from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 February 2022, guests can join Dick and his cat, Tom; Alice Fitzwarren; the Evil King Rat; and a host of quirky characters, as they collectively brave the high seas on their journey to the Sultan’s court in distant Morocco.
Not to be confused with the historical Richard Whittington – son to Sir William Whittington, who was Lord of the Manor of Pauntley in Gloucestershire’s very own Forest of Dean – Dick Whittington is a panto not to be missed, with colourful costumes, toe-tapping songs, buckets of jokes and of course, lots of audience participation.
Tickets are on sale now from the box office at Cheltenham Playhouse, costing £16 per adult and £12 per child.
