Painswick Rococo Garden is getting people into the seasonal spirit this December 2022, with festive family trails and Christmas treats galore.
The garden will be open for the first two weekends of December — on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4, plus Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 — as well as from Monday 26 December 2022 to Monday 2 January 2023, so visitors can walk off some of those mince pies and fill the time between Christmas and New Year with something fun.
Families can enjoy the brand-new 'Unipiggle and the Festive Freeze' trail, designed by local author Hannah Shaw, helping Unipiggle to find his missing guests in time for his festive soiree — with familiar characters from the Unipiggle books hiding all over the Rococo Garden's stunning grounds.
Plus, seasonal treats can be purchased from the café, including mulled wine for grown-ups, while the shop can help with Christmas gift inspiration - with Rococo’s homemade chutneys, jams and honey making a thoughtful present for someone special.
Visitors will even be able to shop for their Christmas tree at the new Exedra Nursery, with a whole range of real Christmas trees to choose from and a dedicated team on hand to help shoppers pick their festive fir. Order online for click and collect, or simply turn up and browse on the day, with trees of all shapes and sizes available from Saturday 26 November 2022.
Dogs on short leads are welcome to come along and join in the festive fun, too!
