Embrace all things merry and bright at Dean Heritage Centre's Christmas Bazaar, bringing festive shopping opportunities and plenty of children's entertainment to the Soudley-based attraction on Saturday 10 December 2022.
Step inside the Christmas marketplace to stock up on festive essentials or find a unique present for someone special, having a good mooch around the stalls of handmade gifts, sweet treats and local produce.
Then, head to the craft hut where the heritage elves, Wendy SugarPlum and Howard MerryPlum, will be teaching visitors how to create traditional festive items using sheep's fleece — with opportunities to try weaving, felting and even using a vintage sewing machine to make miniature Christmas stockings.
Creative kids can get stuck in with even more Christmas craft activities in the Mill Shed — and don't forget to join the scavenger hunt to help Father Christmas find all of his mischievous elves and round them up in time for Christmas.
Better yet, tickets to the Christmas Bazaar include entry to the Dean Heritage Centre museum and Gruffalo trail, meaning families can enjoy a full, festive day out at the Forest of Dean attraction.
Dean Heritage Centre is hosting even more Christmas events, including meet and greets with Santa himself, on selected dates throughout December 2022, too — with all the details in SoGlos's Gloucestershire Christmas events guide.
