With roller skating unicorns, glowing ballerinas and an enchanting Snow Queen to meet, celebrate the launch of the festive season when the Cheltenham Christmas lights switch-on event returns on Saturday 20 November 2021.
Families will be captivated by the roaming characters as they deliver magical theatre, music and even illuminated dance performances throughout the town centre – with arctic elves, a Fairy Godmother and plenty more to see between The Brewery Quarter and Montpellier.
To manage crowding, there is no specific switch-on time this year, but spectators can expect Cheltenham’s stunning Christmas lights to come alive when dusk falls – marking the start of the festive season in the town.
Spreading the joy even further, the Cheltenham Christmas market and hotly anticipated ice rink will also be open. Not to mention the Brewery Quarter’s Christmas Switch On Party is taking place at 4pm, too.
