There's another opportunity to meet children's TV stars Bing and Flop at Slimbridge Wetland Centre this May half term.

From Saturday 25 May to Sunday 2 June 2024, kids can join in with Bing-themed activities to get closer to nature, including a self-guided activity trail, mini shows, storytelling sessions and character appearances from Bing and Flop themselves — all included in the cost of admission.

And with Slimbridge's exciting Bing programme finishing after half term, families are encouraged to come along and explore with the beloved TV character while they can.

Pick up a map to follow the activity trail, which helps children learn about wetland wildlife through fun-filled challenges featuring Bing and friends. You'll even get a souvenir sticker and your own pair of paper Bing ears for taking part!

Enjoy interactive storytelling sessions every day throughout half term, taking place at 12.45pm in either the North America exhibit or Pond Zone, depending on the weather.

Bing and Flop are also back hosting mini shows in the Slimbridge cinema, every day at 11am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Providing an engaging insight into the world of wetland wildlife, these performances are just 20 minutes long with tickets available from the welcome desk on a first come, first served basis.

And don't miss the chance to snap a selfie with the CBeebies stars! Bing and Flop are hanging around the cinema to meet their fans, too, with daily character appearances at 10am, 12pm and 2.30pm.

Plus, with spring wildlife all around, keep an eye out for new baby animals like goslings and ducklings; spot colourful kingfishers, otters and even meet the world's rarest goose; and explore all Slimbridge's wetlands have to offer — from cooling off with a splash around in Welly Boot Land, to taking to the water on the one-kilometre canoe safari trail.

Don't forget to stop by the gift shop to stock up on official Bing merchandise before heading home!
