Bringing a tale as old as time to Tewkesbury this festive season, The Roses Theatre's annual Christmas pantomime for 2023 is Beauty And The Beast — oh yes it is!
Written by TV and radio comedy writer, Miranda Walker, the show promises catchy songs, comedy capers and a captivating story delivered by a diverse and talented cast of performers.
Guaranteed to have audiences of all ages laughing until their sides hurt, this fresh twist on a beloved fairytale classic also aims to remind us that 'true beauty lies within'.
Much to the delight of big kids, too, The Roses Theatre's adults-only pantomime returns for 2023, with a raucous and risqué version of Beauty And The Beast that's just for over 18s taking place on Friday nights in the lead up to Christmas.
Beauty And The Beast is on stage on selected dates between Saturday 2 December 2023 and Saturday 6 January 2024, with a sensory and dementia-friendly performance on Sunday 17 December 2023 and a BSL signed performance on Wednesday 3 January 2024; while adults-only performances take place on Friday 8, 15, 22 and 29 December 2023.
