This Saturday 26 June 2021 between 10am and 4pm, the Jet Age Museum in Gloucester is welcoming visitors to celebrate Armed Forces Day 2021 – as well as the 77th anniversary of D-Day.
Showing support to veterans and the men and women currently serving in the armed forces, the event commemorates Gloucestershire’s aviation heritage and will be packed with entertainment – including a thrilling Spitfire and Hurricane display; representatives from the likes of the Air Training Corps and Royal Air Forces Association and WW1 and WW2 reenactors.
Visitors will also be able to see all the usual attractions on display at the Jet Age Museum free of charge.
Covid-19 guidelines will be in place, including maintaining social distancing throughout the venue and mandatory wearing of face coverings.
Please note that the Vulcan and Trident tours, alongside the barbecue and VE Day presentation have had to be cancelled to operate within current Covid-19 guidelines. All other exhibitions will continue as planned.
