Celebrating the upcoming arrival of the real cows at the common, Amberley Cow Hunt returns to the village of Amberley this spring, promising an entertaining weekend of fun and frolics.
The popular family event, organised by Amberley Parochial School to raise funds for the Send a Cow charity in Africa, will see more than 30 novelty wooden cows hidden, with families invited to find them on a trail through the village and common on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 May 2018.
Expect ‘amoosingly’ named cows, with past events featuring the likes of ‘Desperate Cowswife’, ‘Moolin Rouge’, ‘Finding Nemoo’ and ‘Diamond Moobiliee’ on their novelty counterparts, all of whom will be delightfully dressed to impress.
The event offers plenty to keep little ones entertained, including face painting and a funny photo booth, while there’s entertainment for adults too who can rack their brains in the Cow Hunt quiz, and rest and refresh in the vintage tea tent, brimming with a sumptuous array of homemade cakes.
Herd together the family and friends for an afternoon of great British eccentricity in the glorious Gloucestershire countryside this April.
