A special, live-streamed performance of White Rabbit Red Rabbit starring Alan Digweed (AKA Gloucestershire’s favourite, Tweedy the clown) is coming to the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham on Saturday 13 March 2021.
The Everyman Theatre is joining venues all around the world for a simultaneous broadcast of the performance, commemorating the day that theatres were forced to close their doors due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
White Rabbit Red Rabbit is a completely unique experience, as it has no director, no rehearsals and no set cast – just a script in a sealed envelope on the stage.
The critically acclaimed show, created by Nassim Soleimanpour, is designed to remind people of the transformative power of theatre, taking audiences on a journey into the unknown – inspired by his experience of being forbidden to leave his home country of Iran.
The one-off performance will take place live at 8pm on Saturday 13 March 2021. Ticketholders will be sent a private link to view the performance. The show is suitable for over 12s as it does contain some swearing.
A minimum donation of £12 is required, with all proceeds going to the Everyman Youth Theatre and Allsorts Gloucestershire.
